The 6-foot-9, 250-pound starter has made 17 starts for Double-A Binghamton this year, pitching to a 3.96 ERA with 90 strikeouts in 84 innings. The Mets selected Stuart out of Southern Mi s in the sixth round of the 2022 draft. The Mets acquired Je se Winker from the Nationals. Getty Images Stuart had a strong year with Single-A Brooklyn last season, recording a 1.55 ERA in 14 starts before he pitched to a 4.11 ERA in seven starts for Binghamton in 2023. The Winker acquisition gives the Mets a left-handed boost in their outfield. The 2021 All-Star has 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and a .793 OPS this season, and against righties he has 10 homers, 36 RBIs and an .840 OPS.
