1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's costly. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed well across the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on any type of floor and managed to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. In addition it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, are required to be replaced regularly too.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your floors while cleaning up wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is continuously dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
This device has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
